back again....

well,i am writing after such a long time that the keyboard seems unfamiliar and random,screw that....this will be a unsorted list of things that have happened since the last time i signed out...Please note these things are not in any order of preference
here goes nothing
* i went to BITS,pilani to play..woohoooo
* i played in JNU with my college friends,also played in Udaipur and DLF Saket with this bunch of chilled out guys who call themselves OCB (Other Classes Backward)
* my group in College got changed (random,plz ignore)
* Have been enjoying the weather as of now,though its tough to get up for college
* Have been hanging in JNU a lot....its an awesome place to eat,drink,perform,chill or just relax...damn that place is addictive
* Still don't have the slightest clue about academics,examinations,career and similar stuff.... :P
* Have to get my car and guitar fixed
God, this is turniong out to be lame,boring and too self indulgent......

# August Post
Well August has come to an end and September is rushing in...almost another year passes by, it feels just as if it was January yesterday.(the concept of time is a funny one, it runs so slow,sometimes you feel as if one would cease to exist any moment if time would be moving any slower but then on the other hand in some cases it just passes you by in a whiskful of a moment such that years and years seem like a few seconds.though debatable, not quite sure which one is worse.
The one in which time slows down and the emotions running through you intensify like crazy especially when you are sad and depressed,it gives one hell.
or
the later in which time flies by and you remember all the key things (mainly the good stuff,and sometimes horrible stuff too) that has happened over the past which can possibly be jotted down in the form of a few bullet points in a word document saved as My Life.doc or having a similar name in the hard drives of our brain.which makes you feel like all those moments are long lost somewhere in the corner of your head and might never return to life again.

Whatever be the verdict,one thing is for sure.As Bob Dylan would say it."......The Times ,they are a changin".

Mixed bag

Well i am pretty sure that no one reads my blog anymore (not that anyone used to earlier ) but still it won't stop me from keep typing and cribbing about my life to an imaginary loyal audience,who appreciate every word i write.
Moving on,loads of things happened this week both good and bad,starting with the bad things

* As luck would have it didn't make it through IIMC and Xaviers both.
* Have no clue what will i do this year . no signs of any PG or a job for that matter.
* Our Band "Bridge To Elsewhere" lost in the finals of the Battle of the Bands aka "Wednesday Wannabes " after winning three weeks in a row, Damn it,thats the end of FREE Beer and FREE Chilly Chicken and FREE Chilly Paneer for us : (

As far as the good things go

* Went to Dharamshala for three days,the trip was Brilliant.The train journey while going to Pathankot,The breakfast at Lhamos (Chocolate crepes,cheese omelette's,french toast,coffee).The food Mc LLos was awesome too (Pizzas,Dal Makhani and more).The place we stayed the first day/first night was brilliant,be it the place,the location,the view,the FEEL (thanks Dhwni and the other guys too),The trek from Shiva Temple to the waterfalls and then to the Shiva Cafe was Adventurous,Scary,Life threatening,Tiresome and brilliant(cheers to Captain Sukirti,Aniket,Sai).
Dubbey,Vibhu,Vikram and Vidya were awesome too. I didn't know these guys before the trip but we all had a great time together.
A special thanks for Lord Shiva for making it a brilliant and memorable trip for all of us.

what lies ahead ....?

Yet another month is about to get over and i am standing pretty much where i left two months back.

In between these two months i went to mumbai for an interview and came back.As a place mumbai is awesome,just had a little trouble with the taxiz and the extreme humid conditions ,otherwise it was great...will definitely visit blue frog and hard rock the next time i am in that city.Also gave an interview at IIMC, the chances of getting in there are negligible considering what happened in the interrogation room.

Well enough about academia and post grad plans,deviating a bit,our band "Bridge To Elsewhere" played at Urban Cafe,Gurgaon last Wednesday..it was fun...we all screwed up on stage (i officially screwed up the most) but inspite of that we won the "Wednesday Wannabe" Night, which subsequently means that we will be playing there this Wednesday too,its about defending our title and some more good music and hopefully a lot less screwing up on stage. : P

Still trying to figure out if there is even a single person/thing in the universe or probably in some other universe with average speed Internet connection that reads my blog.

Was just hearing The Scientist by Coldplay.
Oh fuck...!!!!!
One of the reasons why music is not just sound or a bunch of notes and chords but much more than that .
The song has a hummable melody, the structure is not too complex,the drums and guitars are simple yet equally significant,the lyrics are not too out there yet they convey so much more than what one reads off the internet or the album cover.
It surely is not a rock anthem,and that's probably not even what it's meant to be,that's what makes it what it is.
How wonderful is it when you just don't listen to the song but actually Hear it. Experience it.When the song becomes a part of you because it conjures up memories within you that you knew always existed but never thought about it unless something comes along and forces you to go back and trace back those memories. Don't know why but this song reminds me of this Jim Carrey movie "The Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind".
When you think about how your life was and how your life should have been,and suddenly you open your eyes and snap out of it.....

FACT # 1

Well i just realized that i didn't write anything in the month of March which is sad because i broke my streak (i had at least 1 post for every month since i started blogging) so i will have to compensate for it.
Still don't have much to write about

*College is almost over :(

Life's been alright,thinking about stuff,loads of stuff,have been having self doubts,realizing stuff,trying to figure out where i stand,where i belong....followed by loads of whats.hows,whys and whens have been orbiting my head like unstable electrons.
I always thought life was like this big puzzle like the ones we used to make when we were around 3 or 5 yrs old...i still think so,but the difference is that, now,some of the pieces seem to be lost and misplaced.
Only if i could find them somehow,only if....i could complete my puzzle.....only if...

i realize i am just uselessly ranting as usual and being as random as ever but cant help it...
i am pretty sure nobody reads this shit no more (not that people used to read it earlier )

well from the time i wrote my last post, its been pretty much the same...life's is boring...n ya campus rock idols was a good experience(we reached the regionals,didn't make it through the zonals though)..and we might go for manipal fest..lets see
february came and went like that (...zappp )
well just some more random shit then
* Slumdog millionaire, the movie got 8 oscars (total of around 108 awards till now)
*Dev D was an absolute treat to watch,what an excellent movie and the music was mindblowing too
* Went to South Asian Bands festival '09 and saw agnee perform live which was simply awesome
* College is almost over (no sign of internship,post graduation or the most awaited trip to Goa)
* Life is Random,confusing,boring and more boring (i have mentioned that earlier too, i guess )

its going to be a busy day ( can be pretty lousy considering the track record of events in my life )
* there is this audition for this rock competition (campus rock idols) and its 8 am in the morning somewhere in north campus ,not too sure about the location and we aren't even prepared for it.
* there is an interview followed by that in okhla, related to advertising n all that,don't know where that is too.
* then there is my friends birthday party which i am not too sure if i will be able to make up.

2009....Whats the Big Deal ....!!!!!

Another year gone by...and things are still the same.Sometimes i don't get it, Whats the concept behind celebrating an year gone by and another new year which lies ahead of us...Its not like a new start or a new beginning to life...its continuing the same old life...doing the grind everyday...facing old situations, consequences,people...i mean everything is exactly the same except the date may be....

I am not being pessimistic or cynical here but i don't see no practical reason behind celebrating the new year except maybe as an excuse to party.
Its that time of the year where lots of people make resolutions to make their lives a little better...which 99% are unrealistic hence are forgotten and remain unfulfilled.All predictions,horoscopes,tarrot cards related business gets a major boom but after all this guess what, your life still remains the same(.....surprise....!!!!!!)

The new year only indicates that its time for the republic day parade again,valentines day again,birthdays again,summers, monsoon, winters again and before you know it you are either six feet under or blown away to ashes.

Accept it or stay in a Fool's Paradise forever....
